Nestled in my home, my time oscillates between wandering through the corridors of my mind, pouring emotions into my art journal, and seeking comfort in the digital world. Oh, and let's not forget the warm, comforting cuddles with my furry companion, Bonnie.

Amidst this solitude, my emotions ebb and flow. There are moments of profound peace, interspersed with feelings of numbness or loneliness. Sometimes, contentment wraps around me, only to be shadowed at times by a sense of disconnection. The human heart and mind are indeed a landscape of shifting sands – ever-changing, unpredictable.

So, what is an art journal and when do I feel most connected to this intuitive self? It's when I create space. An art journal is a space to feel the nuances of my body, to listen to the whispers of my inner self, to journal my raw, unfiltered thoughts, to meditate, to immerse myself in the therapeutic process of art journaling, and to embrace the healing embrace of colors and mark making. An art journal is a space just for me; where I can be myself uncensored and creatively curious.
