Metta Meditative Mixed Media was the focus of our first session of the Creative Wellness Series for September. In this series of 5 sessions you learn about the 8 dimensions of wellness and self care and engage in both a mindful breathwork practice and a Metta meditation through phases. Jessica takes you though watercolor basics of wet on wet and dry on wet, how to make gradient washes and then how to pull together your Metta meditation focus through creatively creating a piece of artwork with pen, ink, stamps, and texture making tools.
